Hosta - Whirlwind

This hosta features an abundance of color as the seasons change. The center of the foilage starts off with an antique white which slowly changes to a butter color and finally ends with a yellow-green. Its leathery twisted leaves and stunning dark green edging give it a unique look.

Jerry's Comments: "The thick leatherly leaves are under-rated. After years of growing 100's of different varieties, 'Whirlwind' still continues to outperform so many of the new varieties. Resists pests. Grows well. Looks great, especially in early evening hours with the fading sunlight bringing out the pronounced white variegation."
