Very attractive sport of Hosta 'Maui Buttercups' is full of life. The solid golden leaves are accentuated with lovely dark green edges. The pale lavender flowers adds additional beauty to this already charming hosta.

Jerry's Comments: "A great little hosta with sturdy leaves. Slugs do not touch it. Plant in sunny locations to bring out the bright golden centers. I think it grows better than average."

It is a fast grower and good looker, it will melt out if in afternoon sun in the upper south or the lower north or lets say mid Atlantic but thats not Georgia righT? It is one of my favorites and I am very picky. I would agree about the slugs but I don't have slugs here.

I absolutely adore this little hosta. It is extremely hardy in my garden in dry shade. The colors leap out of the shade at me.
